About Me

I was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1978. I am a civil engineer by profession and an amateur photographer with a passion for the art.

Having started primarily as a landscape and architectural photographer, I am also experimenting with different genres, such as portraiture.

My involvement in landscape photography and my love of cinema have both influenced my approach to portraiture, leading me away from the classic style. I shoot in the studio using flashes or continuous lighting and, in some cases, a combination of both.

Most of my photographs are envisioned in black and white, and through the use of various techniques—such as double exposures, long exposures, projectors, and lens filters—I try to convey impressions and emotions in a way that departs from the conventional.

I am a member of the International Association of Art Photographers (IAAP) and currently hold the distinction of Virtuoso (V IAAP).
